Love so complete and so emphatic, sometimes as cinematic as an airport-run embrace and others as simple as pounding laughter while sharing a bottle of vino over pasta at sunset. The best moments, the joys of life, the little pleasures, and the larger loves are the steady reasons for wishing to jump on the wedding photography train.
My photojournalistic experience brought me to capture real life stories through which I began to notice how beautiful people are at their most organic, most intimate moments. Several years in the fashion photography world taught me everything about the importance of capturing elegant details that add the special punch to a story, creating the perfect backdrop and mood for a narrative to flourish. And when these two combined in hundreds of weddings across Greece and the U.S. the time was right.
Having spent 18 years traveling the globe to document weddings the essence of my work still remains the same: to encapsulate everything that makes my couples’ hearts aflutter and to make sure they enjoy their finest moments unbridled, free, in absolute style and above all certain they have trusted their images in capable hands.
I won’t shy away from grand and cultivated wedding events filled with exuberant buzz and constant movement, but I also love intimate weddings, island paradise escapes, vineyard affairs and sizzling city elopements. Be it the magic of the Greek Islands, the honeypot resorts of Italy or the velvet vibes of U.S. destination weddings -you will find me at least twice a year shooting in Chicago and Los Angeles California – there is no place I will not follow my brides and grooms to create immaculate wedding images that not only tell the story of their day, but of everyone around them.
I love families and their dynamics so even when the camera is not in my hand photographing happy brides and grooms, proud mothers and fathers, graceful oldies and even family pet ring-bearers at their best , you will find me taking my daughter snowboarding, reading stories to my son, or spending time at home with friends and dear ones, enjoying a good glass of vino over Netflix, and devising practical jokes on literally everyone around!
